Research
Throughout her career as a Ph.D. student and candidate, Lauren has researched and written about a variety of topics within the realm of international studies. She has performed extensive research and worked with experts in the following fields: poverty, development, sustainability, equality, wellbeing, aid programs, and economic policy. She hopes to continue this research as well as branch out to new topics throughout the course of her career.
Lauren’s research relies on complex methodological approaches to illuminate her topics and inform policymakers. In her dissertation, she employs advanced econometric techniques to analyze the relationship between development aid and human development. Many of her current projects are related to development aid, as she wishes to continue her research on the topic and write a book about it.
